In this video, Keith Wallace teaches a master class on Italian wine from Sicily to Piedmont. These classes sell out four to six months ahead of time at Philadelphia’s Wine School. This class started with an overview of Piedmontese white wines and then into the reds of the region and the northern region of Valpolicella.
The class then progressed into the classical wine regions of Central Italy, including Chianti Classico and Maremma on the Tuscan coast. From there, Keith took the class over the mountains into Abbruzzi. Finally, he swung downwards into some of the Italian wine regions in the South, including the memorable wines of Sicily and Campania.
