hey friends, thanks for everyone who tuned in live! It looks like we missed a few great super-chat questions due to them not popping up in our live stream software! working on fixing that so I can answer everyone on the live stream moving forward! see ya live next Friday!
LOL bam bam from the flintstones. poor chickens they have a terrible life
i loved this SO much, thank you making this! i can't wait to tune in again next friday 🤩
It world be my pleasure to work with you guys 😍😍😍 Sadly i live in Brazil 🥲 i would love to see you trying out some brazilian food 🥰
I’m not sure if this what is already going to this.. but you can do a “cook with me” where you tell people what ingredients to get beforehand.
I will tune in. But I can assure you that meal prep does require planning.
If you are open to opinions—I do live videos for corporate clients and mise en place is critical and provides less camera waste.
Live audiences are different and more difficult than edited videos. The last thing I would want to see in the beginning of a video is a person running around the kitchen.
Of my various careers I’m also a recipe developer for a meal plan service provider. In order for the service to be effective it requires planning and testing. Then on the production side it requires mise en place, prep, assembly, packaging, labeling, and storage.
I meal prep all of my meal for the week—every week. It’s fun, saves a lot of money, and it helps home cooks be more creative.
Look forward to more live videos.
NEW HERE!
I was searching for this I have a FULL time job this is perfect! 😀 thank you !
Where are the wooden measuring cups from?
*Investing in crypto now should be in every wise individuals list, in some months time you'll be ecstatic with the decision you made today*.
Adding a tiny bit of vanilla extract bumps up the flavor as well 🙂
I would recommend a thermometer (wired) for cooking proteins more precisely from the start. Much easier to get that low, safe internal temperature and not overcook it (dry it out).
For the chicken breast, I would personally aim for 165 degrees (at the thickest part) and not much higher.
Love your account! I know this is NOT your specialty, and every pregnancy if different, but I would LOVE to get some of your meals you cooked for your wife while she was pregnant. I know it is maybe a small audience, but would hugely help me and a bunch of people out, thanks!
Probably a stupid question. How many days would you meal prep for at a time? 3 days or a whole week?
Hello. Is it safe to use that "camp" stove on a daily basis? Looking for an alternative to an electric burner in a garage apartment.
Hey I have been following you since the time of you and your brother. I love the finished kitchen it is beautiful. You mentioned looking to expand I’m from LI I moved to the NE PA I am a want to be Chef I do organic as much as possible I grow a lot of my food and do farm to table. What is it in the position your looking to fill , what are the needs?
how can we torn the oatmeal/coconut mix into cookies?
With the oats and chia I use milk Kiefer that works out good too
I love turmeric in my oatmeal with Maple syrup.
I find it funny that cooks will handle raw chicken then touch everything in their kitchen and then say "oh I need to wash my hands." Not meaning this as a dig on you specifically, I just see it a lot. With that said, I do the exact same thing.
How's your brother doing?
16:00 real cooking hahaha
Looks like a fin show,I hope to watch live on Fridays
Check your DM!!
You can shake it in the can.
Him saying "boom" could be a drinking game! 😅
love this livestream format! great tips that you won't see on a scripted 'recipe' type channel
Can we get your wife's measurements for the chia oats?
chicken fat if a lot, I like to freeze in "ice cubes trays" then store in a container….. super easy to twow in a pan, melts instantly and keeps up to 6 months easily….
So excited you are doing these! Can’t wait to catch the next on live. Go Long Island!
