Celebrating the New Year in Italy, and talking about how we have, sadly, had to isolate ourselves for much of this Holiday Season. Justin and I are saying goodbye to 2022, and welcoming in the new year, and with it, hopes for a great new beginning, full of positive new adventures, in our beloved Italy. We are American expats, living now, full time, in beautiful Calabria Italy, in wonderful Scalea. Michael is physically disabled, with mobility issues. As we vlog Italy, we do like to show in our videos, that anyone can dare to dream of life in Italy, regardless of mobility issues. The truth is, Italy mobility can, at times, be challenging. Buon anno ragazzi! I am glad to see your posts again. I got a new laptop and for some reason when I got back on YouTube I was no longer subscribed to your channel. This happened to another channel as well and was several weeks before I realized it. Well, now I get to catch up with your content! I understand what you were saying about not knowing what someone else is going through. As I have mentioned before I have my own disabilities due to a spinal cord injury. I can walk short distances but it's quite painful and people don't realize what I am going thru because I look "normal". I see the judgmental looks and hear the comments others make as well. I recently got a walker prescribed for me but it makes me sad to realize that I need to use it. Well, I appreciate your honesty and openness and I'm glad to see your videos again! Ciao Lovelies and Happy New Year once again! So sorry you're starting off the NY with bronchitis Justin! I managed to pull a sciatic nerve on NYE doing absolutely nothing…in extreme pain ever since!
