  1. LIVIO!!! This was def on time!!! I love the bubbly, so I'm trying the Cognac version tonite!! Sometimes, I add a bit of Lemoncello in mine. It really brightens things up!!! CHEERS and Happy New Year to you and the family!!!

  2. I have a little recipe book from England and I was looking through it this morning. This cocktail is the only one in there. Queens Victoria loved champagne and drank versions of this while traveling with her ladies in waiting. And then I see your video. Thank you for the tutorials. Happy New Year Livio. I appreciate all of your support. Cheers and see you next year! 🎉

  3. Happy New Year!! Did the same cocktails with hard apple cider from a local maker, worked very well and tasty with a dry craft cider.

  4. When you say, “In the book of Jerry Thomas, 18:62”, it sounds so biblical. Ha! I guess the argument CAN be made. Happy New Year, my brother! Cheers! 😉🥂🍾

  5. Unfortunately, I gotta agree with Embury. The champagne cocktail has always been very meh to me. Great video though! I liked seeing the side by side taste test. Cheers and happy new year!
