  1. Thanks so much for the recipe, it looks wonderful and healthy too! I'm a bit of a newbie to the kitchen and you make everything so simple and clear.

  2. yeah she does, of all the cooks/chefs on youtube , i would love to go to heathers for dinner the most 🙂

  3. No balsamic vinegar???
    No garlic???
    No roasted peppers???

That dish is too bland for me. That recipe must be for (non-Italian) white folks.

  4. Wow.. Yummy.. Your cooking style reminds me of my own; casual but professional, experienced.. I wish I could ever find broccoli rabe in northern colorado..

  5. In the south of Italy,we add the broccoli rabe to the pasta while the pasta is still cooking. Then we drain everything and mixed it with a previously made fresh tomato sauce (8 tomatoes washed and cut up and sauted with extra virgin olive oil and fresh garlic). The recipe in the video is not right,as broccoli rabe need to be immerged in water to cook well, other wise you will have a hard to chew texture mixed in your pasta.

  6. I do not dispute the recipe … But maybe it's better that you put the pasta in boiling salted water for last thing, otherwise you will have glue, not pasta

  7. I've been looking for a simple brocolli rabe recipe to try. glad i came across you. and i love the way you present everything- the wine pairing with every dish is excellent. Subscribing now!

ps. enviable locs you got there 🙂

I have a question. Instead of using Broccoli Rabe, can I replace it with Tomatoes and Amaranth 😡 ?
I can't find Broccoli Rabe or at least, I don't know how to find one.
I'm also considering other greeneries such as carrots and mushroom or maybe even beans ?
Will it in anyway, kill the food's taste ?

Oh, and also, maybe a bit of chicken stock or some other liquid to make the food seem more moisturizing ?
