  1. What are your thoughts on Rome? Because it is so popular were a little apprehensive about going, but I am so glad that we did! However, I can't imagine what it is like to go during the summer time when it is packed. Have you been?

  2. Lol. What Americans consider a side street, an alley or a sidewalk is a major thoroughfare to Italians. Little cars everywhere. So true. But the Alfa Romeos, especially, are so cool. Great place for car spotting.

  3. They don't treat tourists very well. If you happen to have studied Italian and you speak some Italian, even worse, because they think you are an asylum seeker and forget it, they treat you accordingly. They even tell you to go back to your country.

  4. The most underrated city I haver ever been. I had been told this was an overrated city so I went with low expectations and I was truly impressed. Beautiful monuments, historic landmarks and architecture, great and affordable food and wine, the vatican, trastevere neighborhood. It is worthy just to walk the streets, magical city. ❤

  5. Did I just heard Hillary twice said ancient and not following it with the suegra joke????
    Some thing is not right!!!

  6. I prefer my Chicago thin crust pizza Amazing From Vito & Angelo's Fullerton and Monticello They actually put enough quality ingredients in the pizza

  7. I’m so excited for you to show us more of Rome! Every time I watch one of your videos my bucket list gets a little longer.

  8. Rome is amazing. The food- amazing. The Spanish Steps at the golden hour. They have Ave a bus that you can take around and get off and on. Take a tour to get the tour.

  9. "In the next video we're going to eat as much food as we possible can," I can't wait! Rome looks beautiful and is on my bucket list also. Enjoy every minute – Anne

  10. I love the excitement and kind of contentment you are feeling on your first day! I don't know, you guys, Rome looks so wonderful and you had such a great first day, will you be able to top it in the upcoming days? What was that giant thing you were eating, Greg, after you tried the cannoli?

  11. Rome and Florence are totally on "the bucket list." This looks like a 180 degree opposite of Old Town Vallarta LOL. We've enjoyed our two vacations there because it's SO laid back, it's almost like home.

Thanks for sharing your new experiences, folks.

    Best regards,

  12. Rome is my favorite city on the planet. I have only been there twice, but plan to go back again and again. It is unbelievable in every way.

  13. Sorry to be negative in this post. I was last in Rome in 1993 for 3 weeks during a tour of Europe, Africa, Eastern Europe and the Middle east so I can't speak about how it might have changed and I'm quite sure my experience would be different today. However, there is a reason I haven't been back since – I just didn't like it so much. There were many places I loved around Europe but Rome wasn't in my top 20. I spent a whole day feeding the dying, stray cats who were sat there shaking, in terrible condition around the ruins. I think Ghandi said you can judge a population on how they treat their animals and I do. Not only that, I didn't have a good experience with the Italians who I found to be loud, brash and rude but they were at least a little nicer than the Parisians! Rome itself wasn't anything special. I went to prettier, happier, cheaper, friendlier places on my tour. On a positive, the food was nice in Rome and I did meet a few nice people. It's probably changed a lot since 1993. I know Poland and Bulgaria had changed an awful lot when I returned a few years ago. I was amazed. So if you don't agree with me, I can understand why. Things change. Oh and I was held at knife point by someone demanding my backpack. He didn't get it but he did get bloodied and arrested. That could have happened anywhere but I told myself – never again!

  14. I just went in October and it’s everything your saying. It was on our bucket list and we miss it and Florence too. I love Mexico and I love the US but Italy was wonderful. I think of the pizza and pasta every day… and the cannolis and the gelato and the cappuccino and…..

  15. When I went there I could spend hours watching the turn about or whatever you call it where you have taxis and horses all crossing the same paths! And we rented a car crazy!

  16. I also had funny moments where there are no toilet seats, and the bathrooms are shared (male and female)
