I just got off a seven-day cruise aboard Carnival Celebration where I went literally all over the ship, ate in nearly every restaurant, and did practically everything that you can do. I even had the chance to visit some spots that passengers never get to go that you’re going to want to see to believe.
My thoughts on Celebration? I have one word to describe it — ridiculous. And I mean that in a good way.
So what exactly is it that makes this ship so wild? I’ve got all the details and my honest review — including both the good and the bad.

How about covering a disabled passengers stay ? I spent years traveling first class for work in advertising & now sit in a wheelchair. Iād also as a word traveler volunteer to be on camera. Iām a past life Iāve also spent time in front of the camera – letās give all the disabled folk a look around š
no mention of police and doctors etc
Covid wet dream come true! No thanks
My sister and I did the celebration transatlantic. I was not impressed with the ship. We were not offered the tours. I wanted to go on one. The entertainment was outstanding. Absolutely loved the magnificent circus. However, why build a bank of windows if your only going to cover them with screens? The area for the for viewing is bad. Unless you sit at the very front, you'll miss alot. I also did not care for the elevation changes on deck 6. I faceplanted in front of everyone when I went to look at the ship model in the carnival restaurant.
Would you recommend this ship to someone who is disabled and uses a medical scooter ?
Pretty much still convinced to AVOID Carnival. Thanks for video.
I sailed on a number of cruises in the eighties. Each I recall was relaxed and focused on the experience of being at sea. My last cruise was in 1994 and since that time I have seen the size of these ships increase exponentially. For that reason I no longer choose to cruise. The focus has moved away from the outside cruise experience to ship's interior, which begs the question, why people find this experience fulfilling? If I was looking for crowds, restaurants and attractions I can find all of that in cities like Las Vegas.
I ask what is the point of going on a cruise if you are constantly exploring the interior of the ship? Its tantamount to taking a tour bus, then staring at you phone for the entire duration of the trip.. My views might be considered a bit dated, but I can not bring myself to cruise where the cruise line focuses all their efforts on creating illusions that have no relationship to an experience at sea.
I can not think of a reason to book a passage on a ship of this size and configuration. Thank goodness, their has not been a major catastrophe on one of these ships to date. If you believe crews could evacuate roughty seven thousand people without major risks to life and limb then you need to view a few documentaries on major shipwrecks in the last hundred years to return to reality. Passengers who are panicked do not always hear, or always obey crew instructions.. .
I worked on Carnival ships 20 years ago, I looks so different now, but kinda the same…
Sad People
No matter what you say you can not make Carnival look good
stop saying theater like that. stop it stop it now
Iād love to be laid up with a full bully watching life ease by on this ship. What a way to relax
Awesome video, you were very in-depth with this one, Iāve sailed Mardi Gras and now Iām booked on the Celebration in July, I have a lot to look forward to with this one , thanks again, keep the videos coming
Way too many people and kids!
I wouldn't go on a cruise any more than I would go to a casino. Satan's playgrounds…
What are the requirements re Covid testing, masks, etc?
The bridge and engine room would be awesome. The rest of it not so much. I've been on four cruises – but never that crowded.
Amazing how you freepaid passengers smootching it all up never mention the total cost of your cruise especially after the 500 add-ons that you will pay to get what you really want. Soon as one of you guys says "honest review" your nose grows two inches. Totally overcrowded for a wannabe vacation.
Went on the New Marci Gras I didnāt like it too! Crowd
Why is the food in the dining room so awful
Ships that big and top heavy are just tragedies waiting to happen.
I just got off the celebration 2 days ago. Surprisingly, I did not once think any area was too crowded. Even up top, I had no problem getting a good seat, on sea days at that!! Loved it!
I can't believe you said there is still smoking onboard in the casino. They killed that over 15yrs ago on Celebrity Cruises. Being the Casino Manager who brought it in back then I can assure you there was no down-turn in revenue, and that was when 22% of Americans smoked. These days it's down to 15-16%. Sounds like Carnival should re-asses their demographics.
anything over 2500 – 3000 people is too big in my honest opinion.
I have done the small ships, I have also done the big ships and the big ships suck, they just don't feel relaxed and after all isn't that the reason for a vacation.
On the other hand pls continue. You folks are improving the gene pool which we desperately need
Ohhh I guess you forgot to mention that all the cruise ships, are coming bac to port with 25% of the folks sick with Covid and a bunch of people dying in hospitals once off boarded
Casinos that still allow smoking are disgusting! Hard to believe thatās still a thing any more
Yikes! That cabin absolutely looks small. Looks like our RV. MORE people, smaller spaces. Perfect!
Certainly the use of the atrium as a theater show opportunity has its own challenges, especially if a non cooperative crowd is aboard as passengers. That said I believe both the Mardi Gras and the Celebration as big game changers for Carnival. It's only on their hands the opportunity to grow from their current 3 starish cruise experience to a solid 4 starish!… Time will tell!…
This big ship will spread so many diseases for instance covid are they going to social distance on there I hope
Sorry. There's no way to be honest if you got a free cruise out of it. At least be honest about the fact that your experience will not be something any of us (even paying full price) is ever going to get, which means it's not exactly objective. If I have to pay money, I would be a lot more objective because I would want what I pay for to be worth the experience. If it's free, eh…whatever. It's all good.
Great video and review…thank you. Happy Holidays and take care!!
Way to crowded for my likings
Solid review. Balanced feedback. It looked interesting, right up until the comments regarding choke points and overcrowding. Not a deal breaker, but would definitely require me to reset my expectations. Thx again.
