Half way in between Temecula and San Diego is Monserate Winery in Fallbrook. This place is 🔥. The have Italian varietals with lots of dry, bold and full-bodied wines. Our kids LOVE this place because there’s lots of room to run.
👉🏻They have an on-site pizza oven with legit Italian-style pizzas (the pizzaiolo is from Italy). They also offer salads and appetizers
👉🏻 They are open Wednesday thru Sunday, closed Tues.
👉🏻Bring a blanket on the busy weekends so you can have a picnic lunch near the lake on the grass.
👉🏻 They have live music and events on the weekends
👉🏻 My favorite wines were the Sparkling Malvasia and Petit Sirah. They also offer an orange wine and beer.
