  1. Really appreciate your words and I resonate so much 😍 I posted a week ago about nourishing myself well in a public way and it went viral .. mostly it was received well .. I started watching you a few months ago and just love how much you enjoyed Europe and the good culture!! Blessings to being you and being a confident woman 🌹🔥

  2. Dear Jazmin, I have been following you almost from the beginning. I am 44 years old, struggling with ED since 15. I am trying to do my best, but orthorexia has very deep roots in my head. I appreciated your speech about veganism, you talked out of my heart too. I love your energy, positivity and this wonderful healthy approach to nurishment and exercise. I wish you all the best! Greetings from Czech Republic, Michaela

  3. Been following you for a while and I never did think you were vegan! I remember you did used to do 1 vegan meal a day.
I’m not vegan at all! I am very much plant forward. Just how I feel “best”. Lots of potatoes lol.

  4. Hi Jazmin! Greetings from NY! I love your story and your food videos. Please keep sharing your life with us, love watching you. Your meals are super YUM!!!!

  5. I also used to be fully vegan but i had to stop because my ed got so strong that i ended up in hospital an a ed clinic… I was no longer able to make my own food choices and being vegan was no longer something i could follow. I felt so so so bad because i thought i was vegan because of the animals but after a while i saw that it was part of my ed as well. It was an excuse to not eat my fear foods. It was hard to come to turns with it. I had to except that eating vegan was not the lifestyle that fitted in my recovery for now.

Im vegetarian now and hearing you talk about being closer to the earth while eating animal products really opened my eyes i felt guilty for a long time but ive excepted it for now. My recovery stands above everything

Thanks for being so open about your journey. I hope i can be at the same level with food freedom as you are one day🥰

  6. Now you seem like the other type of restrictive lots of fat and protein, paleo based low carbish

  7. you are such a beautiful and wise soul, seriously my comfort channel and you have helped/inspired improving my relationship food so much <3. I've been thinking the same way about why I cut out, or lots of people have cut out whole milk and people only drink almond milk or oat milk nowadays. Of course some people can't, but I don't wanna follow a certain diet because of a trend, so I am slowly too cutting out any rule and starting from scratch 🙂 You are the best!

  8. U worded this so beautifully!! Totally love how u spoke your mind and your truth, go girl haha!! I’ve been watching your videos for years now, and I absolutely love your channel. Every person and their bodies need food to survive (and enjoy of course haha), and most of the time those kinds of foods are different; and that’s ok. People can have opposite diets and that doesn’t make either person bad or better, if it keeps u alive, happy, and healthy than that’s all that matters. I’m half Japanese, so growing up I ate loads of fish, eggs, chicken, beef, etc. with a strong love for veggies and fruits of course. As I got a bit older I started noticing how certain animal based proteins/products we’re making me feel. Dairy made my skin breakout and red meat gave me stomach pain for example. Eventually I tried a plant based diet and noticed a change in my energy, my skin, and how my body physically felt. Of course I never forget to always listen to my body and not restrict myself. I’m 23 and have been vegan for over 2 years now, and I’ve never felt better, but this is what works for ME and MY body. Everyones relationship with food is a journey in itself, and it’s not always easy. If u wanna try something new than go for it, and if it doesn’t feel right than it’s ok to take a few steps back; don’t force yourself into anything. I don’t believe that everyone should have to go vegan, because a vegan diet is not sustainable for everyone, whether it’s their own dietary restrictions or the conditions of their environment. Bodies are different and need their own things to feel their best and healthiest self. When I eat vegan I don’t search for ways to replace the foods I used to eat, I enjoy finding new flavors and recipes that keep me happy and nourished. That’s part of the reason why I love your channel!! It’s so amazing to have a space where everyone can feel included and safe. Not to mention your content as a whole is so awesome!! Keep doing what u do and living life however u feel happiest🖤

  9. You are wise beyond your years 🧡 I had a similar experience. I think that labels with anything (outside the realm of food and diet) can become restrictive and damaging in the long run. Glad to see that you’re happy and healthy — I always love viewing your videos xx

  10. You aren't a Vegan if you don't do it for the Animals.
    Veganism isn't a DIET.
    It's a Lifestyle.
It's a way of life which supports the lessening of non human and human Animal suffering.

You may have tried to be plant based for health reasons, but being Vegan is a lifelong commitment to being compassionate.

  11. Plant based food is composed of EVERYTHING you are eating now. It's just that you don't add dead, slaves, whose lives have been stolen from them, inside of it.

  12. If you see veganism as a diet, then it can become part of an ED. If you have the privilege of eating plant-based and believe killing/harming animals unnecessarily is wrong, then according to your personal morality eating animal products is wrong. Veganism is not a diet.

Side note: I've had anorexia for nearly 7 years and bulimia for two, so I know the ED mentality. I never stopped being vegan because I don't believe someone's body and secretion is food. Perception is everything.

  13. I don't think you should have to explain why you eat what you eat. Everyone is not meant to eat the same so I say f anyone who has a problem with how you eat. And history wise, humans aren't naturally vegans, humans throughout history are omnivores or vegetarian. So, I can see why it wouldn't work for most people but hey people can eat what they want.

  14. Personally I love the idea behind following a vegan diet, but I know that for me it is not the good thing to go into since I am recovering from anorexia. Firstly, even if you can eat vegan and balanced, my body needs a lot of nutriments in quantity that would be harder to get while following a vegan diet. Also, I know for sure that my brain would use this diet to restrict myself even more and hide it behind «good intentions ». I appreciate when people are brave enough to address that topic, it is not because we don’t follow a vegan diet that we are against the ones who enjoy it 🙂

  15. Once again a very lovely video 🥰 you're so natural and down to earth, thank you for sharing your eating journey with us. You look lovely on your current diet, glowing and very "cozy" looking hehe 🥰 lots of love xx

  16. The more we can consume REAL food and NOT purchase meats, dairy, nut milks, & produce (& highly processed foods too) from unsustainable sources the better our health of human and planet will be.

  17. But maybe that's exactly what veganism is about. Not caring about yourself for once but accepting it is the single best dietary choice for our planet.

  18. You can be healthy or unhealthy on any diet. Vegans who eat processed junk foods and/or don’t focus on well balanced meals become unhealthy and blame it on the vegan diet. I’m glad there is less ignorance surrounding that but it’s unfortunate that so many ran back to eating meat and animal excretions because they were uninformed.

  19. 7-year vegan here to say that NO vegan person who is trying to adopt a truly compassionate, empathetic lifestyle should or can look down upon anybody else for doing what's right for themselves! we're all doing the best for ourselves and others with what we have available and that looks different on everyone! 🦋💕

  20. Well plants and animals have been given to man for food. We should eat all that has been given to us with gratitude to God. If for health reasons, one can't have some foods, it is still okay.

  21. This girl literally changed my whole life and the way I see food now it would never be if I hadn't jaz, love u so so so much jazz, may God bless you and your family💟🤞

  22. I believe not one diet will work for one person it’s an individual person on person basis. For me I’m vegan and gluten-free. I’m gluten free because I have celiac disease so I can’t really avoid that. I am vegan for the animals but I also have a good balance of being a junk food vegan and a Health nut vegan I agree with you that everything should be in balance I also agree with your take on eating local and seasonally you use some really good points and I greatly admire that. 😊

  23. "i feel spiritually connected to the earth when i eat tortured and killed animals and cheese made of milk that was from cows (that belongs to their babys which were taken away from them)

  24. Jazmin, I applaud you for speaking your truth. This takes courage and I applaud you. Thank you for encouraging people to eat what makes them feel healthy and happy.

. I was a vegan for 2.5 years and in the past few months it has ceased to bring be health and happiness. I have struggled with an ED which has caused me hormone imbalances. A vegan diet has been disadvantageous in fixing these issues. Initially I felt horrible, as if I was an evil person for abandoning veganism because of the impact of the environment and animals. However, I came to realise that I need to put myself first. At the end of the day, it is me who is stuck in this body. If I’m not feeling healthy and happy , then this living thing seems redundant. I realised I needed to prioritise myself above the lives of animals I don’t even have an emotional attachment to.

Like you were saying, a vegan diet also disregards culture. Sometimes a traditional cheese from a niche region in Italy cannot be replicated with cashew cream and nutritional yeast. Reverting to an omnivore diet has allowed me to reconnect with my Greek ethnic roots and enjoy the foods I loved growing up. It’s truly irreplaceable.

Lastly, I’d like to thank you for acknowledging that veganism can be used as a way to restrict fun foods like cake etc. some people shy away from admitting this and I don’t think it’s benefitting anyone.

Thanks for promoting such an amazing philosophy on healthy eating and I hope your Chanel grows huge so your message proliferates.

  25. with most ex-vegans, I can see why they went ex-vegan and I wouldn't hold it against them. However, with you – I think you should give veganism another chance. You don't have to eat beans. There's other legumes like peas. If not peas, then flaxseeds – which're really great on the digestive tract. If you want to get lysine – you can do amaranth! I don't like eating beans even as a vegan! They taste bad. I've swapped out beans for barley grass powder.

  26. pumpkin seeds and mung beans (or skip the mung beans if you don't like beans) are great alternatives to eggs.

  27. As a vegan, I judge you, but I don't judge that you changed back. You are a free person to try out whatever works for you. Maybe you went into it too early for the wrong reasons. Maybe one day you'll give veganism a chance for what it is – not something to hide an ED from the world, but to help animals. Thanks for sharing your story! A question – will you still help animals even if you stopped being vegan?

  28. I was vegan but then when i went all in for full recovery from my eating disorder I stopped. I think you can apply a lot of the principles of being vegan to life even if you are not completely vegan, like being intentional about the foods you choose to eat. I'm having so much fun trying new foods in recovery, food freedom is amazing and I hope you feel that too! And your kitties are so cute! Sending lots of love to you friend! xo 🤗❤💕💕💕💕

  29. Girl… I love you….but you GOTTA get some silicone spatulas for your kitchen. 😂

  30. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

"Heal my relationship with food" ?

Yeah, introducing disease promoting, high saturated animal products into your diet ks REALLY gonna heal your relationship with food.

"Self absorbed affluent society member refuses to acknowledge the victims of her actions" would be a better title for this video
