Ingredients
for meatballs
400-500g ground beef or pork
150g bread (toast bread or old bread)
150g milk
40g Parmigiano reggiano / parmesan cheese
2-3 eggs
lemon zest (1 lemon)
thyme
salt and pepper
oil for frying

For the sauce
40-50g butter
1-2 tbsp olive oil
2 shallots or 1 onion
Brandy : 1 shot glass or Italian cup of coffee (optional)
150-200g vegetable broth
400g heavy cream
lemon zest (2 lemons)
thyme
salt and pepper to taste
