    My husband and I are heading to Paris in 2 weeks – now I am even more excited – those hidden bars remind me of my home town Melbourne. I'll skip the frog legs though.

    The food looks delicious! But the interior design of the food stores is a bit weird, many of them look more like jewelry stores rather than bakeries, chocolate or donuts shops. To me personally it looks unfitting, cold and empty, it closes my appetite and i wouldn't stay in there to eat. French food seems great but they try to make it a bit too glamorous and artsy. Food stores need to be warm and familiar, they need to have a home feel to make you stay and enjoy the ambience, and ultimately open your appetite. Gotta give it to the Italians they nailed this part, as well as having fantastic food.

    Hey. Just some suggestion talk slower , lower your music and take your time to explain what you eat and where you go. I mean what is the rush We have to add the subtitle to watch you videos.

    I only discovered this channel recently as I was shared your Lisbon video for our trip there in December.

    I've been to Paris 3 times since this video was published and while I didn't go to any of these non touristy places and of course the first time I went the Notre Dame literally burned down a few days before.

    I've managed to find my own places to recommend in Paris in my trips and each one always has their own memories and recommendations.

    I love how many bars you managed to go to, pretty much how my evenings go where it's bar hopping and going to the next recommendation a bartender says.

    Edit to add; I did go to FTG as well!! Their pulled lamb was divine! It was about 40 degs when I was there in the summer and pretty much nearly died from heat stroke. There's a great little coffee shop opposite FTG as well, amkes a banging cappuccino
