Did you know Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, Ohio has amazing food options? Traveling can be quite a challenge, but we are here to help you plan out the perfect day!
In this video, we visited Kalahari in Sandusky, Ohio and had dinner at Sortino’s Italian Kitchen! This restaurant is located inside of the Kalahari lobby – just outside of the waterpark. It is located next to the coffee shop and across from the hotel check-in.
Sortino’s has both main dining room seating options and a separate bar space. On this visit, we chose to eat in the dining room. We made a reservation on OpenTable to guarantee our table. We highly suggest a reservation on popular nights like Friday and Saturday. We started our meal with bread service. We loved the truffle butter and spiced oil. For our main courses, we had Spaghetti bolognese and a pizza. For dessert we had tiramisu and cannoli. They rolled out an amazing cannoli bar cart! It was such a fun experience and the cannoli were filled table side!!! Overall the service was great and the price was comparable to theme park food located in Sandusky.
We would recommend this for people staying on property whether for a conference or for park goers who need a break from the Waterpark. This is also a great option for those visiting Cedar Point and looking for a late night dining option. We loved our meal and would go out of our way to dine here again, even without staying at Kalahari.
