It's very hard, but I recommend getting hold of some Swiss wines if you can. Pinot Noir from Graubünden is spectacular, perhaps just behind Burgundy for quality and unbeliveably underrated. I also really enjoy some merlot from Ticino.
You should do a video with good Portuguese red wines (from that price range). One from each region. The best are (best and north to south of the country): Douro, Dão, Lisboa, Setúbal, Bairrada, Alentejo. Portuguese viewers would love it and it would give a lot of information to those not familiar with this great wine country!!
Hi guys, I love your program but why don’t you and others in your field ever mention the alcoholic content.
I won’t drink a wine that is over 13 % no matter how good it tastes. I’m sure plenty of the wines you review
are higher ‘octane’ wines. I’m intrigued by the Portuguese wine you reviewed. What’s its ABV. Thank you kindly.
there is a suprising lack of spanish wine on this channel
Hi Jay, could you tell what was the criteria you had to s¡choose these 5 particular wines?
I would love to see a tasting of “natural” wines! In Stockholm, it’s hard to go out to restaurants because all they have are “natural” wines.. Hate it.
Love the videos! I'm currently drinking a very fine wine… it's a box of wine which cost £5 for 3 litres and is mixed with tonic water!
I have a 2016 Ormes De Pez, and I would highly recommend it over the 2018 at this time, but overall I'm happy to see a winner from one of my favorite producers from Saint-Estephe. Love your content! As a big wino I'm always thirsty for good wines and you guys always give great recommendations! thank you for your great content.
Love your channel. I Started tasting French and Italian Wines because of you, guys! I would like to see you tasting Portuguese wines. More like a challenge where you taste wines with the same average price but from different areas of Portugal, such as Douro, Dão, Bairrada, Alentejo and Algarve.
Can you please talk about aging Wine in general, does wine in general improve by aging? Which wine should be aged? What wine would you put in the cellar to drink in the following years? 👋
Are you sure the MOB Senna is 2019?
Senna is a AWSOME wine! Touriga Nacional is a Portuguese Pride!
Now I watched both of them I must insist that we can have a northwest wine in the Olympics. It's just not fair if the only entry is from our worst area. We can compete up north. It's just better. Try a cab franc if you want something different but give us a chance. California is so boring and over priced.
Thank you guys, i had a feeling this would happen. There is almost no other country like Portugal, that provides very good, robust wines for such a cheap price. I dare say, even around 10 bucks!! When you get a chance, please try Alentejo region, surely will make you happy. Cheers!! 🍷❤️🇵🇹
(Recommended: A good cheese and good bread to go with your good wine 😊)
Happy to see a Portuguese wine! Love the videos, and I don't even like wine!! 😅
Think about this, these guys drink a lot of wine and it's in the afternoon. Bedtime can't be much past 8:00p.m.
Hello. Before the wines were revealed just by Peter description i knew it was a Portuguese wine. I am Portuguese but living in Los Angeles. Next time get him a "Barca Velha" blind and see his reaction. cheers and keep up the good work
By the way what vintage was the Senna?
Please taste some Malbec!! Great price point from Argentina. I like it from Argentina more than France.
lol the winers i cant find in mycountry :
I really advise you to try a Portuguese wine called dez tostões. It's amazing!!
Great job with the channel guys, as a Portuguese i'd love to see your opinions on our wines from Azores and Madeira islands! Cheers from Portugal!!!!
What is he scoring the wines out of?
Since you liked the senna, you guys should really try out "monte do vale meão" 🇵🇹 it's great

I am from Portugal. Thank you for tasting Portuguese wine 😊 Love the video! I learned a lot and I laughed a lot as well.
Next time try the portuguese wine "Romano Cunha" 2011.
Come on reveal Peter's score on SENNA I bet he score it 19 or 20 but you got suprised by a 35 dolhars Portuguese wine tasting that good and you cut the scoring from the video 🙂
Jay, for the senna the tag in the video says 2019 vintage, but the picture of the label says 2015. which is the vintage on that senna please?
Love your videos Jay! I would love to see a video on lesser known grab varieties or wines from lesser known countries. Cheers!
More Portuguese wines… please!
You can find the Senna in Portugal for ~20€! Really amazing wine, made with popular grapes in Portugal.
More Portuguese wines please!!! 😉
Do you ever try Israeli wines?
