2015…the business burned in 2017
Bob with Rafael's experience I was curious to know if he changed any recipes or added anything to the menu? We love the eggplant dish and their style of serving a small side dish of pasta with every entree. PS 2015

Rafael Escoffie proudly acquired De Lucas Ristorante in April 2015, it was love at first sight. In October 2017, the restaurant caught fire and destroyed most of the business. Determined not to give up, they rebuilt the restaurant and reopened in June 2019.
I'd love to try their pizza and pasta! Buon Apetito!

I have eaten at two of restaurants Rafael worked in Pasadena. I have eaten at DeLucas for several years.
I have lived I Whittier fo 75.7 years. I was born hear in 1946. I am a Quaker of Fist friends Meeting House, up town. I am a distant relitve of Hadley, one of the founding fathers. I live here in Whittier, on Friends Ave. I used to skate at Whittier Skateland in the 80's and 90's. I like your page and you tubes.
I was born in Whittier at Murphy Memorial Hospital on an early Halloween morning a L-O-N-G time ago. I miss my hometown of 21 years; my husband and I have lived in South OC since we married many years ago. Your channel is SO much fun. MY WHITTIER dude (Bob?)…Are you a Whittier native, too?
