5lb Italian Stromboli Eating Challenge vs Katina Eats Kilos!!

A&Z #1032 – professional eaters Randy Santel and @Katina Eats Kilos each versus the giant 5lb Italian Stromboli Eating Challenge hosted by Papa Piccione’s in Kent City, Michigan!! Katina and I headed to Central and Western Michigan for a long 3-day weekend. We each attempted 3 different restaurant food challenges which were extra delicious!! For challenge #3, we headed to Kent City, Michigan which is north of Grand Rapids, MI to attempt the popular 2ft Long 5lb Italian Stromboli Eating Challenge at the Papa Piccione’s Kent City location. There are two other locations nearby in Sparta, MI and Ravenna, MI, but only the Kent City location offers this food challenge. There were only 5 previous winners after many brave attempts!! We each had 1 hour to eat a 2ft long Italian Stromboli with 2lbs of dough stuffed with lots of cheese, red sauce, and 3 toppings of our own choosing. The whole Stromboli weighed 5lbs/2.28kg total. Mine was filled with mushrooms, jalapenos, Italian sausage, green peppers, and onions. Katina ordered her Stromboli filled with onions, green peppers, and mushrooms. Thanks to Jeff the owner, his family, and everyone with Papa Piccione’s for the delicious food, drinks, cannoli desserts, and hospitality!! Also special thanks to everyone from around the area who came up to watch and meet us that January evening. We appreciate everyone in Kent City, MI and around Michigan who watches and supports our hard efforts!!

Papa Piccione’s 2ft Long 5lb Italian Stromboli Eating Challenge in Kent City, Michigan ($20):

– There are three Papa Piccione’s locations in Kent City, Ravenna, and Sparta, Michigan.
– The Kent City, Michigan location is the only one that hosts this 5lb Stromboli Challenge.
– There is a 45 minute time limit to finish a 2ft Long Italian Stromboli weighing 5lbs total.
– There is 2lbs of Stromboli dough stuffed with cheese, sauce, and 3 toppings of your choice.
– You can get more fillings if you feel brave, and it comes with marinara sauce for dipping.
– Winners earn the $20 Stromboli meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on Wall of Fame.
– Please note that the 5lb Stromboli is only $20 if ordered as a solo challenge. You can order one to split with your family or group, but that costs $30+ depending on fillings chosen (still a great deal).
