  1. come to Italy and be careful as in any other country in the world, feel at home and be polite as at home, anyone is welcome, we say – "the whole world is a country".

enjoy our hospitality, enjoy our cuisine, enjoy our places, you are welcome !!!!

  2. Pretty fascist country to go to
    Only one way for everything.
I think I'll be very happy in the USA
With all the cultures and tolerance .

  3. "italy is generally not known as a party destination"
you haven't been to the right places mate ๐Ÿ˜‚

  4. "Don't expect people to speak your language". Nice advice. It's YOUR language, not theirs, why should they MANDATORILY speak it? Why not visiting a foreign country by making a minimum of effort about learning a bit of THEIR language?
About pickpockets, yes, there are a lot of them… usually on public transport in big cities. Exactly like I found in London, Paris and NY.
About gesturing, as an Italian, I think anglosaxons do gesture A LOT. They simply have a different "style" (I could say I could spot an Englishman in a muted video just by his gesturing.) Anyway, please DO NOT try to imitate Italian gesturing (like suggested in this video): chances of messing it up or at least showing bad taste are about 99%. E.g. the gesture usually consiedered "typically" Italian (grouped fingers and moving the hand back and forth) has many different meanings depending on context, on whom you're talking to and above all the exact nuance of the movement. Generally speaking, it'll be considered quite rude if made in front of anybody but close friends or relatives.
Breakfast is not "poor" because we can't do it properly. It's just 'cause Italians are not used to make a big bf (many do not bf at all). Contrary to northern countries, in Italy dinner is the main meal.
The "coperto" is an old "tradition" coming from the ancient days when poor people didn't even have a cooking place at home, so they went to "trattorie" bringing their own food, in order to spend the minimum. The "trattorie" therefore charged the "coperto" to cover at least general costs. Please consider that mineral (bottled) water is both high quality and cheap (differently from countries where they charge it like champagne).
If you want real Italian coffee, make it simple (normal or maybe "macchiato" i.e. with some milk in it) and forget all that Stabucks bulls… If you REALLY want a watered down coffee, just order a "caffรจ americano". They will do it (although they won't be happy).
It's quite true what said about "spaghetti with meatballs". I think there actually is one place in Italy where they eat it (Puglia, if I'm right) but generally speaking, it's just an American-movies bulls… Mainly because spaghetti are a "first course" while meatball (i.e. "polpette") are a "second course". And we tend to keep them separate. That's also why you won't find meat with pasta or rice all in the same course.

  5. 2 mistakes:
-Big shops are always open and SOME the museums and attractions are closed once a week like in ALL Europe
-Trains are on time, enough with this fairy tale delay is the norm

  6. That one isn't the first video where I can read "Italians drink cappuccino before/after breakfast but never after a meal" but that's not true! I'm from Naples and when I meet my friends we always buy a cappuccino (hot or cold) and we drink it in the afternoon. No one will judge you if you want a cappuccino.

  7. Grazie. Great video and the perfect information for visiting my country. Love your channel. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜

  8. As a guy from Rome, i loved the video, you did your homework for sure.
Just one thing: if you want the nightlife, just ask around, ask some people between 18 and 26 yo, they'll tell you where to go

  9. Dolce far niente?? because you are in vacation doesnt mean that italians are not doing nothing. Who wrote this text to you? they are all the same. Come in Rome, i will let you see how to do Dolce Far niente, just 3 hours in the daily traffic of Rome will make you change idea. Also many of the recommendation would be the same in France or Spain…

  10. "Dont forget to eat pizza with your hands"

i thought you need to eat it with a spoon

  11. Don't expect to find Spaghetti Bolognese in Bologna. It's called Al Ragu and most times served with Tagliatelle.

  12. We in. Italy usually donโ€™t go to night clubs because there are lots of illigal reve partyโ€™s end those are lot more fun then any festival you have been in your life

  13. Every European city is full of pickpocket Spain, England, Hungary …and now Italy๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ

  14. Guys, im italian, and, i sware, polpette in Italy are one of the most famous and tipical dishes. OMG, im dying!๐Ÿคง

  15. Pick pocketing is fluent in Italy but with the new digital wave itโ€™s easier for someone to scan your card with atms or just by brushing past you. Another reason why cash, will be a little safer.

  16. Non whites, stay away from this fascist country, it is a Nazi state! Spend your money where it will be appreciated.

  17. I just came back from Italy. The people are awesome.I don't speak Italian but didn't have any problems. Rome is a beautiful place. Lucca is nice, but Florence and Venice was the best Place to visit. I went to Milan. Didn't like the place we stayed.
