Part 2 video recap of the VIA Bolgheri #GitaScolastica: visit to the Scienza family winery, Guado al Melo – Vino Wine Bolgheri DOC Toscana. Here VIA Ambassadors & Experts met with Owner & Winemaker, Michele Scienza, along with Professor Attilio Scienza, who gave the students a tour of the cantina & vineyard with their collection of wild vines. After which was a tasting of some of Guado al Melo’s signature wines to include, Jassarte, Rute and Criseo, and even a tasting on experimental wines made by Scienza’s students using amphora, ancient Neolithic Period containers used for winemaking.
