The largest business event in the county of Butler will be welcomed back to a familiar venue this September. This year’s celebratory business dinner will return to the beautiful ballroom on the campus of Slippery Rock University on the third floor of the Smith’s Student Center. This is also a monumental dinner as the Inaugural Stan Kosciuszko Leadership Excellence Award will be presented. Stan Kosciuszko led the Butler County Chamber of Commerce for 20 years, during his tenure he took the Butler County Chamber of Commerce to new heights and established the organization as one of the largest in the region. He also revamped the leadership program which remains one of the longest-standing leadership programs in the state of Pennsylvania. Today, he remains active in the chamber and serves as the chair of the Past President’s committee. In addition to the inaugural leadership excellence award, the chamber will present the 2022 winners of the David L. Lloyd Chamber Champion Award, the William A. Morgan Jr. Entrepreneur of the Year Award and recognize the 30 graduates of Leadership Butler County Throughout the evening you will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with the business professionals that lead the fastest growing county in western Pennsylvania. You will also get to hear from the Butler County Chamber Board Chair, Maria Malloy, and President, Jordan Grady as well as Stan Kosciuszko and the 2021 award winners. The night will feature imported southern Italy wine and craft beer from the first Recon Brewing. H’dourves, salad, surf and turf, and dessert to be served. The event will begin at 5:30pm with a cocktail hour social and conclude at 9pm.

Cocktail Hour: Dolcemare is a nice medium-body white wine made with a unique split of Greco and Malvasia Southern Italian grapes, Montepulciano D’Abruzzo is a full-body red wine with an intense ruby red color that pairs perfectly with surf and turf meals. Assorted beer is provided by Recon Brewing.
Cocktail Hour H’dourves: Mediterranean Display featuring Antipasti Skewers, Flavored Hummus, Fresh Crudite along with Toasted Crostini and Grilled Pita
Mixed Green Salad: Italian Vinaigrette with Roma Tomatoes, Red Onions, Pepperoncini, Black and Green Olives, Prosciutto, and Gorgonzola
Main Entrée: Surf and Turf, 6 Oz. Filet Mignon, Maryland Style Crab Cakes, Fingerling Potatoes, and Grilled Asparagus.
Dessert: Assorted Bistro Cakes
