Did you know that Lycopenne is one of the strongest antioxidans that you can find in tomato paste and juice? It increases its values once cooked and transforms a simple ingredient like tomato paste in a super food.
All the health benefits together with their delicious taste make Sultan’s tomato based products some of the key ingredients in my pantry. They are rich even in vitamin A, C, E, PP and minerals fighting numerous diseases.
I got to enjoy a delicious creamy tomato sauce in this absolutely fabulous Eggplant Parmigiana I made last week. It was a real feast! if you want to try it, all the ingredients you need are:
-2 eggplants;
-300g Sultan Tomato Paste; -300g Grated Mozzarella; -200g Grated Parmesan;
-1 small onion chopped; -2-3 garlic cloves chopped; -fresh basil chopped.
All you have to do is:
-Grill the sliced eggplants;
-In a baking pan layer: tomato paste, eggplants, onions & garlic, mozzarella, parmesan and basil. Repeat as you see in the video.
-Bake for 30-35 minutes at 180C or until the cheese is completely melted.
