Our Wine Director David Allen, Master of Wine tastes Geographico Montegiachi Chianti Classico Reserva 2015.
In 2015 Geographico were a large co-operative producer based in the town of Gaiole, since then they have been taken over by the Piccini wine group who have invested with them to improve their facilities and hopefully their wines.
This Chianti Classico is predominatly made from Sangiovese with about 10% of Merlot included in the brand to round out the palate and make it a little more approachable.
