Hey guys!! Yay surprise guest in the vlog!!
My sister is here! It’s been an entire year since she has made an appearance in the vlogs! We went to Seattle for the day and spent some time shopping, eating at Panda Express, Shake Shack and of course, hitting up Target! First half of the vlog is making one of my favorite pasta sauce recipes ever!! A white wine and rice wine vinegar beurre blanc, and it’s incredible!
Beurre blanc recipe:
Notes: I use a pinot grigio for the wine, and sweetened rice wine vinegar for the acid. For the first time, you really want to use the 1tbsp of whipping cream for your sauce because it helps the butter emulsify with the reduction and prevent splitting your sauce (which I’ve done a few times, and it’s not good haha).
