Cheap eats to try in Cinque Terre!
Cinque Terre is full of tasty treats but visiting this area can get expensive. Here are a few cheap eats that you definitely shouldn’t miss when you’re in the area.

Enoteca Dei Bardi – La Spezia
Most of the cheaper eats in the area are actually located in nearby La Spezia, where you’ll find a greater variety of eateries at a much cheaper price, with overall better quality. Enoteca Dei Bardi is a wine bar that focuses on locally produced wine, focaccias and other, quite simple but delicious food and drinks. You get a lot for your money, and it’s only an 8-minute train ride from Cinque Terre. Make sure to try the local pesto in one way or another, the foccacia’s are a really good way to do it.

Gelateria Vernazza – La Spezia
Right next to Enoteca Dei Bardi, you’ll find Gelateria Vernazza. This is where you’ll find some of the best, yet cheapest gelato in the area. There are so many flavors to choose from, and they taste delicious too.

Britta’s – Riomaggiore
This is the perfect spot for a healthy breakfast. It’s take away only though, but there is plenty of seating nearby in the stairs. Here you’ll find treats such as watermelon juice, avocado toast and freshly made acai bowls, all at reasonable prices.

Gelateria Corniglia – Corniglia
I’m not here to vouch for the gelato at this place cause I never tried it, but I did try their granita’s which is a form of slush which they have in various flavors such as mint, strawberry, lemon and orange. These are really good and it’s the perfect way to cool down from the hot weather.

Alberto Gelateria – Corniglia
This is, supposedly the best gelato in Cinque Terre and it was actually really good. They also had iced coffee, which can be hard to find in Italy, and I also appreciated that they had quite unique flavors such as honey from Corniglia and basil, which you don’t really find anywhere else.

If you’re looking for other options or more formal restaurant choices, I highly recommend you to check out my other reels covering Cinque Terre as I’ve included three really good restaurants that are definitely worth a visit! These are Nessun Dorma, Torre Aurora and Ittiturismo SP4488.
