Tomato sauce
– crushed tomatoes
– garlic
– yellow onion
– olive oil
– parsley (fresh)
– basil (fresh)
– oregano (dried)
– salt and pepper
– sugar
– Parmesan

Sauté garlic in olive oil over medium heat. Add the yellow onion and saute further until translucent. Lower the heat and add crushed tomatoes. Add salt and pepper, sugar, parsley, basil and oregano and grated Parmesan cheese. Add a little water and stir. Let simmer for about 15 minutes (The longer the sauce simmers, the tastier it becomes).

In a small bowl, add breadcrumbs and milk. Stir and set aside.
In a large bowl, add the remaining ingredients and mix the batter together with your hands. Add the mixture of breadcrumbs and milk. Mix together with your hands until all ingredients are combined. Form relatively large meatballs and place them on a greased baking tray with oil. Cook in the oven at 200 degrees C for about 20-30 minutes – turn them after about 10 minutes. Add the meatballs to your tomato sauce and simmer for another 10-15 minutes.
