Flame Thrower Review – Two Birds Bar and Mumma Maria’s House (Detroit, MI)
Join us on a quick tour of the Two Birds Bar and Mumma Maria’s House Italian restaurant and carry out that is located in two houses on the eastside of Detroit. This is a very unusual but very cool setup. The Two Birds Bar is inside the house on the left. Mumma Maria’s is in the middle house. There are huge decks around the front, in between and in the back of both homes. Watch the video and you will see.
They are located at 8130 and 8122 Kercheval Ave, Detroit, MI 48214. Just Northeast of Van Dyke and just a stone’s throw south of Grosse Pointe.

Mumma Maria’s House is a family owned restaurant inspired by the late Maria Giordano, Carl Giordano’s wife. Mumma Maria’s House is quaintly located in Detroit’s West Village and features Mr. G’s Sauce, Meatballs and Maria’s Ammoglio Sauce.
