The historic small town of Lazise is a picturesque place on the south-eastern shore of Lake Garda in Italy. Past and present are harmoniously combined here. And it is the oldest municipality in Italy !! The old city wall with all its towers and gates entwines around Lazise like a protective rampart. And right in the middle, squares and narrow streets leave enough space to offer the wide promenade enough space in the direction of the beach.
There is a lot of activity around the countless shops, stores and cafés. When you look at it, you can hardly guess that this area was already inhabited by the Romans. Nevertheless, a touch of Lazise’s eventful history seems omnipresent. From the 15th century, the fortifications protected against attacks by hostile Milanese. But today Lazise is much more than a large historical open-air museum. This little town impresses with an interplay of excellent fish restaurants, pleasant holiday idyll or part of the popular wine route of Lake Garda.
Die historische Kleinstadt Lazise – ist ein malerischer Ort am Südostufer des Gardasees in Italien. Vergangenheit und Gegenwart werden hier harmonisch miteinander vereint. Und es ist die älteste Gemeinde in Italien !! Wie ein schützender Wall rankt sich die alte Stadtmauer mit all ihren Türmen und Toren um Lazise. Und mittendrin lassen Plätze und schmale Gassen genügend Raum, um der breiten Promenade ausreichend Platz bis in Richtung Strand zu bieten.
Geschäftig geht es rund um die unzähligen Shops, Läden und Cafés zu. Bei diesem Anblick lässt sich kaum noch erahnen, dass dieses Gebiet schon durch Römer besiedelt gewesen ist. Dennoch erscheint ein Hauch von Lazises bewegter Geschichte allgegenwärtig. So schützte die Befestigungsanlage ab dem 15. Jahrhundert vor Angriffen verfeindeter Mailänder. Doch heute ist Lazise weit mehr als ein großes historisches Freilichtmuseum. Dieses Städtchen besticht mit einem Wechselspiel aus hervorragenden Fischlokalen, angenehmer Ferienidylle oder Teil der beliebten Weinstraße des Gardasees.
La storica cittadina di Lazise – è un luogo pittoresco sulla sponda sud-orientale del Lago di Garda in Italia. Passato e presente sono qui armoniosamente combinati. Ed è il comune più antico d’Italia!! L’antica cinta muraria con tutte le sue torri e porte si intreccia intorno a Lazise come un bastione protettivo. E proprio nel mezzo, piazze e vicoli stretti lasciano abbastanza spazio per offrire all’ampia passeggiata uno spazio sufficiente in direzione della spiaggia.
C’è molta attività intorno agli innumerevoli negozi, negozi e caffè. A guardarlo, difficilmente si può intuire che questa zona fosse già abitata dai romani. Tuttavia, un tocco della movimentata storia di Lazise sembra onnipresente. Dal XV secolo le fortificazioni si difesero dagli attacchi dei milanesi ostili. Ma oggi Lazise è molto più di un grande museo storico a cielo aperto. Questa cittadina colpisce per l’interazione di ottimi ristoranti di pesce, piacevole idillio vacanziero o parte della famosa strada del vino del Lago di Garda.
