Life in Calabria, Southern Italy is a dream come true. And, in the summer months, Italy is a place that gets very warm. So, to beat the heat, we visit a beach in Scalea, our town in Calabria, Italy. We rent out an umbrella at Lido Olarino, and treat ourselves to a wonderful beach day, in sun-kissed southern Italy. We spend time relaxing on the lounge chairs, as well as spend some time splashing around in the sea. It was a great day, which offered us a chance to beat the summer of Italy, and all the heat it brings.
