France has Provence but Italy has Chiaretto di Bardolino. Chiaretto di Bardolino is the rosé wine of the Bardolino region in Veneto in the northeast of Italy. Bardolino sits on the shores of Lago di Garda, the largest lake in Italy. On the east is the region of Lombardy, to the north is Trentino, and to the west is the Veneto Region.
