And an Army Colonel! And they are such friendly people!
Westmincom is based in Western Mindanao, and this base in Zamboanga protects Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi. And I was invited to visit!
What a great experience!
After leaving Basilan, I spent some time in the pilot house of the RORO, then went for excellent pizza at Mauricio’s. Then it was time to go inside Westmincom, before travelling up to Iligan!
