Welcome to this Arnaldo Caprai interview Pt. 1, Umbria, Italy (textiles and Sagrantino…wine in Italy is hot); another episode of On The Road Edition hosted by Stevie Kim. Today Stevie continues his visit to Arnaldo Caprai. After visiting the winery, she meets Marco Caprai, managing director of the Arnaldo Caprai winery. With Marco Caprai, Stevie learns about the history of the winery, Marco’s passion for his winery and territory, and the other fields in which the creative Caprai family is involved.
The Arnaldo Caprai winery was founded in 1971 from the dream of Arnaldo Caprai, a successful man in the textile industry, to produce wine from local varieties and especially Sagrantino. Since 1988, the winery has been managed by his son Marco Caprai, who has continued his father’s dream by bringing innovation and producing high quality wines.
