Thought I’d take you around with me again in Berlin on another busy day. I had three events to go to in a span of a few hours and I was able to do it! Yay! First, I got to visit the ASKANIA store in Kurfürstendamm through the diplomatic spouse club Willkommen in Berlin’s Design Group. We got a tour of the office and learned about the company and its history.
Then, I rushed to a press lunch for the EU-funded Enjoy European Quality Food campaign for wine, olive oil, and cheeses with ‘Designation of Origin’, ‘Geographical Indication’, and ‘Guaranteed Traditional Specialty’ labels. Basically, we learned about these certifications and labels that we find on such products.
And lastly, I got to celebrate my friend Lea’s birthday with our other Filipino friends! Really enjoyed this day even though my feet were killing me. 🙂
