In this video, I present a wine sensory evaluation of a 2017 Conte di Bregonzo, Amarone della Vapolicella, Verona, Italy. The grape in this wine is Corvina. The producer does not identify any other grape (if it is a blend); however, typically, in the region they use a blend of three grapes: Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella.
The wine sensory evaluation consists of visual examination, olfactory examination, gustatory examination, final impression and tasting notes.
Through the five stages I analyze the sensory impressions of the wine with over 150 wine sensory characteristics, fitting them into seven wine characterization categories: Acidity, Appearance, Aroma and Bouquet, Color, Deficiency, Flavor and Quality, to finally define the numeric wine score (myWineScore) with precision.
MyWineScore is 87, Quality Rating is Very Good.
