This is a myungranjeot (korean)/ mentaiko (japanese) cream pasta. It’s pollock roe, and it’s salty, fishy, and filled with umami. Think of it as asian caviar!

Ingredients (Serves 2)
120g spaghetti
2 tbsp butter
1 ½ cup heavy cream
20g cup grated parmesan
100g myeongranjeot/mentaiko
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 cup pasta water *make sure to salt your pasta water!*
Salt and pepper to taste
