Riu Palace Costa Mujeres All-Inclusive Dining – Restaurants, Buffets, 24 Hour Room Service, Poolside!
We were able to stay at the Riu Palace Costa Mujeres All-Inclusive Resort in Cancun, Mexico, three weeks after it opened in November 2018. It’s a beautiful resort in a newly developed area, situated just across the water from the island of Isla Mujeres. We liked virtually everything about it, and one of its strong points in all the dining options available to guests! The Riu Palace Costa Mujeres features a large buffet available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The buffet, held in the “Tastes” and “Spaces” areas, was our favorite dining option. There was just such a great variety of food available on the buffet, something we liked very much in the past about the Riu resorts. But there are also great dining options at their four fine dining restaurants. Those are: Zarape, Mexican food; Japan, Japanese food; Krystal, Fusion; and, Roma, Italian food. During our short stay, we were only able to try the Roma restaurant and the buffet, and we found both to be very good. There’s also 24-hour room service, and the Lounge 24 in the lobby that is also open around the clock. If you’re down at the beach or pool area, and don’t want to go indoors to eat, you can get a good selection of food at Pepe’s Food near the Tequila Pool Swim-up bar.
We found the food and the restaurants to be excellent, and in this video we show you what foods are available where and when, and a little bit if what we liked and even didn’t like. But bottom line, if you get a chance to go to the Riu Palace Costa Mujeres, do it!
