2-3 carrots, peeled cleaned and diced
1 yellow onion diced
2-3 tbsps tomato paste
2 cups dry red wine (cabernet)
1 cup beef stock
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1/4 cup heavy cream
Lasagna noodles
12 oz crushed tomatoes
1 tbsp better than bouillon beef base
1-2 tbsps tomato paste
salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder
italian seasoning
1/2 cup pasta water
1 bay leaf
fresh thyme
fresh diced parsley
gruyere and mozzarella cheese

Cheese filling:
8 oz ricotta cheese
4 oz sour cream
1 tbsp garlic paste
red pepper flakes
italian seasoning
parsley
salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder
lemon zest
grated parmesan cheese (1/4 cup)
1 beaten egg

Mornay Sauce:
3 tbsps butter
2-3 tbsps flour
2.5 cups whole milk
2-3 oz grated gruyere
2-3 oz parmesan
2 tbsps grated truffle
pinch of nutmeg
salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder
