Our driver and now friend, Stefano was our guide on this fabulous trip.
San Gimignano is also known as the #CityofFineTowers, We learned that the taller the tower, the more status one had.
After a tour of the #medieval walled town of San Gimignano, we sampled wine at 2 wineries.
The second one( La Lama) being our favorite. Here were learned about Chianti as we were in the #Chianti Region of Tuscany and because we were in the original townships we learned about the #BlackRooster or #GalloNero
Alicia and Mary also fell in love with some of the four legged members of this winery.
