The loop around Terre del Custoza is a journey through a landscape of taste, nature, and history. Terre del Custoza is nestled between Italy’s biggest lake (Lago de Garda) and Verona. Here you will pass wine yards, cornfields, and fruit plantations. Most of the time, you ride on quiet backroads with little traffic. Some of the roads are even closed for cars. As you ride through Custoza, a beautiful town surrounded by vineyards, you also ride through a bit of history. In 1848 and 1866, this town was the center of the war of independence between Italian and Austrian soldiers. The ride also takes you along the Mincio river. It is a segment that is very popular with cyclists and pedestrians. This ride is perfect if you want a route with flat segments combined with occasional hill climbs.

Just add music:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is outstanding. But with music, opinions are very mixed. So we have added no music. Instead, we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute YouTube and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, YouTube, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride…
