—–WONDER OF THE SEAS IS THE WORLD’S LARGEST CRUISE SHIP——
Wonder of the Seas is Royal Caribbean’s 5th Oasis Class ship, now officially the world’s largest cruise ship. Weighing in at 236,857 gross tons, she steals this title from her sister Symphony of the Seas.
When comparing Wonder of the Seas vs. Symphony of the Seas or other Oasis Class ships, you might not be aware that this ship offers elements brand new to the Royal Caribbean fleet, as well as a few Oasis Class firsts.
—–THE MASON JAR ON WONDER OF THE SEAS——
For us, perhaps the best new addition on Wonder of the Seas is The Mason Jar. This specialty restaurant brings southern cooking to the high seas. Offering brunch, dinner, and late night snacks, this is one up-charge restaurant that you need to try when cruising on Wonder of the Seas Royal Caribbean.
Homestyle Southern favorites like chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits can all be found on the menu. There are also sweeter offerings like stuffed French toast, red velvet pancakes, and cinnamon rolls on the brunch menu.
Even if you don’t want to splurge to dine at The Mason Jar, you can still visit the bar for some great cocktails and live country music. The cocktails, like the PB&J Old Fashioned and Mississippi Moonlight, are covered in Royal Caribbean’s Deluxe Drink Package.

Expanding upon the neighborhood concept from previous Oasis Class ships, Royal Caribbean Wonder of the Seas now has 8 exciting neighborhoods. In addition to Central Park and the Boardwalk, Wonder of the Seas offers the brand new Suite Neighborhood.
This new neighborhood gives Royal Suite guests the first-ever Suite Sun Deck. This sundeck includes a plunge pool, plenty of loungers, comfy furniture, and a bar.
Of course, this neighborhood also includes the Coastal Kitchen suite restaurant and the Suite Lounge exclusively for guests staying in these upgraded accommodations.
—–WONDER OF THE SEAS SHOWS——
The new Aqua Theater show, inTENse, features an all-female cast performing high-diving feats, impressive acrobatics, and choreographed dance.
The Studio B ice rink also features a new show, 365: The Seasons on Ice. This impeccably choreographed skating show tells the story of the changing seasons.
The Royal Theater will also feature two new shows. Voices features talented singers and dancers with a digitally-enhanced backdrop in a modern day zoom world meets real world production.
The second show debuting later this year is Effectors II: Crash ‘n’ Burn. Yes, your favorite Royal Caribbean superheroes will make their way to Wonder of the Seas to battle their nemesis Crash and his new sidekick Burn.
