This month was my birthday month, fellow pisceans happy birthday! I have recently turned 27, and I was super excited to celebrate it with my friends and family. So being a typical foodie, I headed to the restaurants in Crown Sydney.
I went to a’Mare restaurant in Crown Sydney with my friend, Cathy. Given the price range, we did have high expectations. It was little conflicting experience for us. We loved some of the dishes like the pesto pasta and tiramisu but we thought that the lobster pasta and the swordfish dish were underwhelming. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and the waiters were nice. There were moments when we felt the restaurant was understaffed as our waiter was waiting on 5 other tables at the same time. Overall, I think the dining experience was unique, unexpected and interesting.
The TWR High tea experience was very nice. The savory bites, scones and desserts were delicious but the sandwiches could be improve.They were attentive to details as they made sure my vegetarian friend got a separate set of high tea which did not include meat. There was live singing which elevated the mood and the singer was very talented so was the pianist. I recommend this high tea experience to anyone visiting TWR Crown Sydney.
