Dorsoduro Pinot Grigio DOC delle Venezie:
Grape varieties: Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay
This wine is made from a blend of Pinot Grigio grapes and a small percentage of Chardonnay grapes.
Why is it called Dorsoduro?
It owes its name to one of the districts of the enchanting Venice, the Dorsoduro district.
The name comes from the fact that the area, in the past, was occupied by firm ground (a “dorso duro”), less marshy than in other parts of the city. Most of the university buildings are located in the Dorsoduro district, making it one of the favorite areas for students to live.
This wine expresses liveliness, freshness and harmony, it is pleasantly versatile and easy to drink, but not banal. A surprising wine that perfectly photographs an area animated by youth, artists and history.
