Another fun Christmas adventure in St. Louis with little Miss Lainey this week is coming your way! Mr. Karnes had meetings to attend in St. Louis this week and i came along to enjoy a ew days of rest and relaxation. We drove from Cape Girardeau to St. Louis and checked in to the Ritz Carlton in Clayton, MO. We have stayed here several times and have another video about the Ritz Carlton on our channel. During the bank meetings we got to eat at several amazing places including Charlie Ditto’s on the Hill, This restaurant is located at 5226 Shaw Ave., in St. Louis. It has been a landmark for fine Italian dining in St. Louis for over 38 years. The food and drinks were delicious and we would highly recommend eating here!
During the bank meetings there was talk about our You Tube channel and how we were trying to get to 100 subscribers so we could get a drone. (This was a self imposed goal!!!!) So, guess what??? We got our 100th subscriber during a late night Cigar Room gathering! Teresa, thank you so much for being number 100! Now we will get a drone so watch for some EPIC drone footage in future videos! Thank you to each person who has believed in us and watched our videos as we learn how to shot and edit them. We so appreciate you taking a chance on us and supporting this dream of ours!
After the bank meetings ended, Mr. Karnes and I extended our stay at the Ritz Carlton. We had made special plans with Miss Lainey! Our plans were for that evening so in the mean time, we decided to go in search of lunch. As we looked for just the right lace to have lunch, we wondered in and out of the shops in Clayton. They were all decorated for the holidays and Mrs. Karnes really enjoyed them. I’m not sure Me (Mr. Karnes) was as big a fan but he played along.
We decided to eat lunch at Wasabi Sushi Bar. This restaurant was voted best sushi in St. Louis in 2021. This was the 13th year they have had this distinction as well! They are located at 7726 Forsyth Blvd., Clayton, MO. There are also several other locations. We loved the sushi!! I can see why they were voted best.
Later that evening, we met up with Lainey and the moms at Anheuser-Busch Brewery, to go to Brewery Lights. Brewery Lights was a dazzling display of lights, photo ops, music, entertainment, fire pits, private igloos and more. I felt like we were visiting Willie Wonka’s chocolate factory! There were millions of lights decorating everything! We got a picture with the world famous Clydesdales and a tour of the stable. We visited the Kid Zone with Lainey and danced! The adults enjoyed free beers and we ate some great snacks in the biergarten. I’m not sure why I was expecting, but this was wonderful!!! If you have never been, you should go next year!!!!
