AD Gifted: Our theme park tickets were gifted by the Universal Orlando Resort. In this Universal Studios Orlando Vlog since our return to Florida USA! Gary and I are staying two nights at the Lowes Portofino Hotel, one of Universal’s deluxe resort hotels. We venture to Universal Studios park, tour the hotel and room, as well as get dinner at Mama Della’s.

We start out our day at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, getting our cases all packed and doing one final check of the room. From there, we get an Uber XL over to Universal Orlando’s, Lowes Portofino Bay Hotel. This is one of Universal’s luxury hotels, and includes express passes whilst visiting Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. We give you a full tour of the resort, everything from check-in to the pool. We paid for the upgrade to club level, which includes a lounge and included food/drink. More on that in the next vlog.
From the Portofino Bay, we take one of the water taxi boats over to Universal City Walk and make our way into Universal Studios. Whilst in the park, we ride The Mummy and checkout some of the daytime entertainment before making our way to The Wizarding World and grabbing a little bite to eat in the Leaky Cauldron within Diagon Alley.
Whilst in the theme park, we also see the special Christmas Parade presented by Macy’s and the Cinematic Spectacular water, projection and firework show. Once back at Portofino, we give you an in-depth look at our meal at Mama Della’s. This on-site italian restaurant is something really special and I would say it’s one of the best restaurants at Universal Orlando Resort. After dinner, we give you a room tour before turning in for the night.
