Sirmione del Garda – Walking and boat tour of the beautiful town of Sirmione on Lake Garda [Italy]

Sirmione del Garda is a beautiful medieval town on the south shore of Garda lake in Northern Italy. The town has an amazing Castle right on the lake. From the Castle the view is amazing and you can see the all lake and the surrounding mountains. After lunch we took a boat tour around Sirmione stopping by the most important attraction of the town. We will continue our tour of Sirmione by walking in from of the famous SPA, than by Maria Callas villa and finally we end up at the end of the Sirmione peninsula by the roman ruins of Catullo’s villa. Our tour of Sirmione del Garda continues by stopping at one of the local winery, the Azienda Agricola Ca’ dei Frati for some great wine tasting. We finish our tour of Sirmione del Garda with a visit to a local olive oil factory, the Frantoio Montecroce, for a taste of the famous Garda olive oil.

In March 2017, Rick and Andrea (confessed Travel Addicts) started a Facebook Group called Travel Addicts as a way to share their travel photos and videos not just with their own respective friend’s lists – but with the world. Part of the reason was for bragging rights (I mean, that’s kind of the point of sharing photos, right?), but also to help answer questions to others about the destinations they have visited.

After inviting some of our friends and family, it grew and grew – and as of June 2019, the group has grown to over 200,000 members! One reason for our success, we believe, is that we have done our best to ensure only high-quality photos and videos get shared, all while limiting the use of commercial content.
