Topolino’s Terrace- Flavors of the Riviera! Join us for dinner at the top of Disney’s Riviera Resort. Topolino’s features French and Italian cuisine in a picturesque setting with panoramic views. The restaurant is currently open for a modified character breakfast and dinner. We learned that guests can return to the terrace to enjoy Epcot fireworks the day of their reservations with their dining receipt.
After being seated at a lovely table with views of the sunset we began our meal with two antipasto items- the ricotta, as recommended by our server, and the olive dish. Bread, butter and olive oil are included with the meal. We loved the flavors of the antipasto. The bread paired nicely with the ricotta and the olives were delicious.
There are a number of interesting offerings on the hand-crafted pasta and seafood and meats menus. We ordered the Rigatoni- braised chicken sugo, rapini, wild mushrooms, and parmigiano-reggiano and Filet Mignon- potato puree, soubise, pickled scallions, onion jus, and guanciale shallot jam. Both dishes were delightful and portions were plentiful.
From the kids’ menu, both Keagan and Brielle ordered the Rigatoni with tomato sauce. They chose fruit salad and vanilla gelato as their sides. Portions were small but after the antipasto service they had plenty to eat. They both enjoyed their dishes.
By the time dessert arrived the sun had set and we were looking forward to some nighttime views. But first dessert! We ordered the pumpkin cheesecake which was inspired by Cinderella’s carriage. This was a delectable dessert and although we were already pleasantly full from dinner we savored every last bite. The kids loved their gelato.
Service was fantastic and we enjoyed the relaxed dining experience. We made our way to the terrace and enjoyed lounging outdoors taking in the views before heading out for the rest of the evening.
