I traveled to Tuscany and discovered Gaiole.
Gaiole is a small Tuscan town surrounded by hills and valleys, encompassed by forests, abundant with oaks, vineyards, and olive groves.
The town is known as the “market center” where cultural and wine events take place. Gaiole is not only famous for wine, but it is also famous for castles and cycling.
If you see the rooster in my video, it is because the black rooster was used as a symbol of the Chianti League in 1384.
There are many places to explore around Gaiole, including the small towns, castles, vineyards, abbeys, and churches. You can spend a couple of days roaming around, maybe lost in the vineyards. But if you don’t have the luxury of time, you’re in the right place for your wine tasting adventure.
Even if I am not a wine connoisseur, having this experience of wine tasting in this famous wine country, I feel like I am one.
That simple dish of Tuscan soup with bread and tomatoes was perfect for my wine. It was a good choice.
Sparkling wine, white wine, or red wine? Anything sweet is my favorite. What’s yours? Cheers!
My beautiful journey to Tuscany was a blissful adventure and sweet as a wine!
