When Virgin Voyages decided to set sail they set out to redefine the definition of a cruise. This included changing the most fundamental element of it, the dinner experience. Instead of including a large main dining room as is customary on cruise ships, they’ve remove the main dining room entirely. In it’s place they’ve followed the latest craze of loading the ship up with 6 specialty dining rooms, but all included in the price of the cruise. Offering six completely unique food and dining experiences each venue is an experience in it’s own with a few offering breakfast, brunch, or lunch options as well as the dinner offerings that all have.
Razzle Dazzle is located on the port side of deck 5 offering a unique atmosphere inspired by the camouflage paint designs that the old war ships would carry to thwart enemies. To go along with the loud decor of the venue the menu offers a variety of veggie-forward offerings.
Pink Agave is located on the starboard side of deck 5 tucked in through Sailor Services. This modern Mexican stylized venue matches it’s menu that blends traditional Mexican food with a formal presentation.
The Test Kitchen is located on the port side of deck 6. This medical lab style venue is home to an experimental dining experience. Guests are presented with a variety of unique courses that twist what we know about ingredients and plays tricks on our eyes and taste buds. There are also cooking classes and mixology classes offered during the day.
Extra Virgin is located on the starboard side of deck 6. The venue features a homey atmosphere that feels like dining in grandma’s kitchen while the food brings a formal Italian dining experience with a variety of pasta options and a unique affogato dessert which blends the delicious onboard ice cream with espresso.
The Wake is located at the aft of deck 6, but is accessed from the aft of deck 7. While there is no formal dining venue onboard, The Wake is the closest thing to one with an upscale steakhouse feel this dining venue offers a variety of steak and seafood options with beautiful views of The Wake.
Gunbae is located at the aft of deck 15 inside The Galley. This social dining experience brings a Korean BBQ dining experience to your table as you sit in groups around a central hot plate where all your meats are prepared right in front of you.
