When sailing with Disney Cruise Line, especially aboard the Disney Dream, one of my favorite days out of any itinerary is going to be the days at sea! We absolutely love the days at sea. Each day sea starts out as it’s own blank canvas ready for you to make the best of it!
On this day at sea, on the Disney Dream, I decide to go start my day off with breakfast at the Royal Palace. I usually end up eating at Cabanas for breakfast, so I thought it would be a good thing to try breakfast at one of the sit-down restaurants with some good old fashion table service. I was very glad I did because this is where I was able to get my Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict! What a real treat!
After breakfast I decide to go have a little relaxation time in the spa at Quiet Cove. There was no one around. I had the spa to myself which was extremely nice.
When on a Disney cruise, you got to take some pictures to remember some of your most fun memories. Disney Dreams Shutter photography staff did an absolute amazing job! After pictures we head up to Palo. Palo brunch is one of my favorite meals aboard any Disney Cruise! This Italian themed restaurant has never disappointed. Today I tried the chicken Parmesan and I can’t say enough good things about it! I also have to mention my favorite dessert. The pistachio cake was my favorite dessert that I had the entire cruise! The density and sweetness was perfect!
After Palo brunch, we then make our way to do a little relaxing time before we have to try and eat some more. We do some character meet and greets take some pictures and all in all take it pretty easy. One of the places that I was looking forward to eating at the most aboard the Disney Dream was Animators Palate! Animators Palate aboard the Disney dream features a character interaction with Crush from Finding Nemo! I was able to try a lot of different desserts and had some really good pork chop. The pork chop was really good however it’s not my “go to”. The desserts were amazing! My favorite dessert at Animators Palate was the Icebox Lemon Pie. The Icebox Lemon Pie was my second favorite dessert aboard the Disney Dream!
Closing the night out, we do a little shopping and I decide to get a gift for Kyle to commemorate his first Disney Cruise. I picked him out a picture of Captain Mickey that he was eyeballing that ended up putting back. So I thought it be a good idea to give Kyle something that would help him remember the fun times that we had.
