This family-run winery is set in one of the best winemaking corners within the cru area of Colli Orientali del Friuli at the northeastern edge of Italy. The natural amphitheater creates the perfect environment for vines to grow. Dramatic swings in temperature and cold winds give the grapes unique perfumes, flavors, and colors.
“We have been making wine here since 1850,” says Proprietor Francesca Petrussa. “Recently, VINOUS described us as ‘One of Italy’s best and most under the radar estates.’ For the last three generations, women in the family have been taking our wine business toward the future.
