So far, Expo 2020 has been a huge success, and we’ve had lots of opportunities to visit and discover some of the most exciting things to do and locations to visit at this massive event. Bring comfortable shoes because you will be walking a lot, or consider renting a Careem Bike to navigate about the site by pedaling. Whatever happens, make sure to have your Expo Passport stamped and keep it as a memento of this insane trip.
The reality is that only one day at this once-in-a-lifetime event will not be enough, and even two days would be pushing it. The ROVE Expo 2020 Hotel was created to address this problem, allowing visitors to forgo the trip home and stay right in the heart of Expo. ROVE is the ideal location for a good night’s sleep after a long day at the event, or simply a relaxing resting spot after a few hours of wandering. This is an excellent option for people who want to make the most of their time at the world’s greatest show.
There are a lot of fantastic places to dine at the Expo, but Scarpetta Mercato is definitely worth mentioning! An Italian restaurant and “Burrata Bar” where fresh pasta is produced daily and cooked with locally sourced ingredients to create worldwide specialties. You’ll like the dishes’ simplicity as well as the strength of the flavors. Make sure to get some real Gelato for dessert and enjoy it while strolling through Expo’s streets.
Terra – The Sustainability Pavilion is the reason this event is even taking place at all! This pavilion, with its magnificent trip to either the Roots of a Forest or the Depths of an Ocean, is likely to require at least two visits. Learn more about sustainable architecture, our society’s impact on the environment, and what we can do to combat climate change and protect the environment. Here, both kids and families will have a terrific time.
The Netherlands Pavilion, which is only a short walk away and keeps with the sustainability concept, is well worth the wait. The major attraction is a unique design for sustainable agriculture that involves growing mushrooms and plants on a vertical farm in the shape of a cone. Make your way inside the cone for an incredible presentation that we won’t reveal; all we can tell is that visiting this pavilion will be one of the highlights of your Expo visit.
If you’re seeking an out-of-this-world dining experience, make your way to Jubilee, Expo 2020’s crown jewel of luxury dining, where Guest Chefs will be hosted at this exclusive venue. Every day, you’ll be able to sample fantastic Course Menu options with optional wine pairings. If you’re looking for something even more spectacular, make a reservation for the Chef’s Table event, which takes place every Tuesday night and features Michelin-starred chefs from across the world preparing magnificent four or nine-course menus in an intimate setting.
