The Place Firenze opened its doors back in 2003 with just 20 luxurious rooms. Ever since the hotel has been making significant progress. Looking back into history, the Babini family and the General Manager Claudio Meli have worked together for over 17 years. They created a new Italian hospitality model that is a source of inspiration for many others.
With a distinctive design and traditional ambiance, the Place Firenze gained popularity and became an award-winning hotel. Most recently, in 2019, the hotel received an award of The World’s Best Hotels Award of Travel and Leisure United States. In addition to this, the objects from the 70s, classical furniture, and lamps from the 50s speak of the resort’s rich heritage.
The Place Firenze is crafted and managed as a luxurious urban townhouse that offers the utmost comfort to its occupants. Beds in each room are covered with white and gray bed sheets, and pillows are embroidered with “JK” initials.
