Italian Grandma’s Pastina Recipe is our Nonna’s version of the authentic Italian Pastina. This dish is loved by kids and picky eaters alike. This is the way our Nonna does it, but you can add more or less pasta water, salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese. Pastina pasta can be substituted with Ditalini, Orzo, or Chili Mac. Our Nonna saves broken spaghetti pieces for hers which makes this a great entry for the Poor Kid’s Snack Challenge visit @Gail’s Southern Living who started the challenge and you can see the other entries using the PoorKidsChallenge hashtag.
